Heavy Lake Effect Snow, March 13, 2017
A strong band of lake effect snow dumped 5 to 13 inches of snow in the western third of Duluth, MN, especially Gary New Duluth, and in the city of Superior, WI. The heaviest snow fell from 1 AM to 6 AM CDT. Snowfall rates reached two to three inches per hour.
